Patrick Zeigler is currently a freshman studying Stage Properties at UNCSA after gaining a year of experience, and working tech theater throughout high school.

Outside of working Patrick loves to try his hand at new woodworking and electronics projects. He especially loves repairing and restoring older pieces of furniture or electronic components. He also loves to spend time in the outdoors with his friends.

Oak Park and River Forest High School

2018 – 2022

While at OPRFHS Patrick began his venture into technical theater and discovered his love for making. While at OPRFHS Patrick was a student leader of stage crew holding the positions of Crew Chief and Foreman. Patrick worked on a multitude of show in different positions like Working (Assistant Lighting Designer and Master Electrician) and Sister Act (Master Rigger).

Bridgewater Studio

2022-2023

After Graduating from high school Patrick began his professional career as a fabricator/carpenter at Bridgewater Studio. Here he honed his craftsmanship and learned invaluable skills while meeting some amazing people. Patrick worked on many different installations for different clients like Nike, NASA, The Museum of Science and Industry, Coca-Cola, and many others.

Zap Props

While working at Zap Props Patrick discovered a love for restoring antiques while also using his fabrication to make items for clients like Portillos and Big Chicken. While at Zap Props Patrick also learned lessons in dealing directly with clients and general customer service related but not limited to prop rentals

Patrick has spent the last school year honing his skills at UNCSA as a student of the stage properties program. While at UNCSA Patrick has grabbed the opportunity to work on two films made by the UNCSA film school, The Judas Project-4th Year Film (Art Director) and Clocked out-3rd Year film (Art Director). While doing this Patrick has also participated in two of the stage productions at UNCSA, As You Like it (Wardrobe run crew) and Twelfth Night (Run Crew).
